Ameshia Bush-Taylor, FNP-BC, MSN, MAS
MEDICAL DIRECTOR
Acclaimed as an innovator in home health care services, Ameshia Bush-Taylor is a
Family Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse with more than 25 years of experience caring for elderly and disabled patients. She earned a Masters Degree from the University of South Alabama and is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner who has worked in hospitals, nursing homes, as a traveling nurse, and in private home care settings.
For seven years, Ameshia has owned and successfully operated Imperial Home Care Services (IHCS), a company she founded after years of caring for her mother and uncle as they fought cancer. She experienced firsthand the gaps between home healthcare and a patient’s quality of life. Ameshia oversees all patient care plans and manages a team of more than 40 dedicated caregivers.
Ameshia was featured in the November 2024 issue of Mobile Bay Magazine, where she was lauded for her spirit of accountability, and valuing growth opportunities, as drivers of her success among Mobile’s leading minority small business owners.
IHCS is growing rapidly since Ameshia created two new lines of business, Imperial Weight Loss and Spa, and The Imperial Drip Factor - an IV hydration service – in 2024. She is currently an educator, preceptor, and an instructor at the University of South Alabama and Walden University’s graduate division. Ameshia is also a committed healthcare advocate and philanthropist.
